Last day of school

School has been out for just over a week now. And boy am I glad. This year flew by (at times). It was a wonderful year, I adore my little kiddos, and I will miss them over the summer. But this summer is definitely needed! I am ready for relaxation, moving classrooms, organizing and cleaning my apartment, and vacation to California. 

On the last week of school we had some fun. We did a little activity with watermelon and I even brought them some. They were in heaven. They kept saying, " you are the best teacher ever! We love you Mrs. miller! " that will never get old. 

On the second to last day of school we had a dance party. There request. I thought it would only last a few minutes, but it lasted for almost an hour. The bell rang to go home, so we got interrupted. Those kids are great & hilarious dancers. They sure do have moves!

On the last day we had field day where they could go do different activities outside. It was great to get them out. We came in to collect our things. And of course, they wanted another dance party. How do you say no to that? When all you can do is smile and say yes! I love these kids. I'll miss teaching first grade but third grade will be great!!
