More cousins!

In the last few months Lucy has gained 3 new cousins. How lucky is she? 

Ryan James. He is now 2 months! We can hardly wait to meet him in August! 

Dottie Christine. Lucy and Dottie are going to be the best of friends. 

Benjamin Kyle. Isn't he so sweet?

Fathers Day

I'm We had such a good Fathers Day. We were able to take a walk at Silver Lake with some of my family and then we had dinner with Blake's family since his dad was able to be here. 

I feel so blessed to have Blake as my husband. He is so good with Lucy. I love seeing them interact. Lucy could not have a better father.

Family/Friend Vacay

A few weeks ago we took a break from our normal and escaped to the Colorado River. We stayed at a friends house. We had a good weekend of relaxing, playing games, eating, boating, tubing, and wakeboarding. Thanks to our friends for the great time.

FOUR months

Our little Lucy May turned 4 months. 

•She learned how to roll over on one side

• she is grabbing for toys

• loves face timing with her cousins and grandmas and grandpas

• enjoys pulling her dresses up to show off her belly

• likes to go swimming

• has moved on from sucking her 2 fingers to sucking her thumb occasionally

• gets super angry and frustrated with her toys when she can't eat them

• doesn't fit into shoes because her feet are too long and skinny

• and the best part is that she talks a lot...and sounds like a raptor. 

We love our happy, sweet baby!!

Blessing day

Today was such a special day for our little family. We had all of our wonderful family and close friends here celebrating our baby Lucy. I am grateful for the priesthood and that Blake was able to bless our sweet girl. We are so lucky and blessed to have Lucy in our family.

3 months

THREE months! Time is flying by. A little about our sweet lady... 

•she still loves her baths (she splashes most of the water out of her little tub) •she is starting to laugh and we love it

• she smiles so much

• she is starting to wear her 3 month clothes

• she is incredibly happy (unless she is hungry or overly tired)

• she loves to blow bubbles

• is sort of sucking on her two fingers

• loves to chat and make loud noises

2 months

I am a little behind, so let's do a little catch up here. 

Here is a little about our little lady at 2 months... 

•11.53 lbs- 62nd percentile 

• 23.8 inches long- 96 percentile (we have a tall baby) 

• she loves spending her days with her daddy while mom goes to teach (mom hates leaving) 

• she smiles a lot more now 

• she loves her pacifier 

• she moves her arms and legs like crazy • she loves her baths 

• she is still trying to find her thumb 

• she has chubby cheeks and thighs (that are so fun to kiss on) 

• she loves to snuggle
