Happy.

9 months of marriage.  And I still could not be any happier being married to this man. The love of my life.  The man of my dreams.  My Prince Charming.  My main squeeze.  My best friend.
I love you Blake!

Weddings.

Two of my best and closest friends are getting married soon!  I love weddings! I love seeing how happy the newlywed couple is.  It just reminds me back to mine (9 months ago).  Such a special time.  And I feel honored to be a part of both of these weddings soon.  Love you both!

Friends.

I have been blessed to be in a cohort of 23 amazing women who have become some of my closest friends.  They know basically everything about me.  I could not have made it through these last three semester without them.  So ladies.....THANK YOU! You all rock :)

My Guy.

Over the past few months Blake has been begging to build a computer.  I finally gave in and told him he can buy all the parts (not knowing when it would happen).  I wake up one morning to him telling me that he bought them all and they will be here by the end of the week.  I was shocked.  I didn't know he was actually going to do it.  But, I should have known.  All the parts came a few days later.  Last Friday night, he decided to stay up ALL night (literally, he didn't go to sleep at all) to build his computer.  I mean....he put it all together.  All of the different pieces.  It's beyond me how he knew to do it.  The least I can say is that I am impressed with my husband.  Aren't you?  I could NEVER build a computer.
He loves the blue lights.

Call Me Mrs. Miller.

As of Friday I became one of Provo's newest teachers.  After all of the schooling I have gone through, it is finally paying off.  I applied for an internship position for the fall.  Interviews were on Friday.  I felt like it went well, but I wouldn't know how well it went until I received a phone call.  Later that night I was extended a position to work at a specific school.  And of course......I ACCEPTED!!  I don't know what grade yet but somewhere between grades 1 and 4.  I could not be more ecstatic about this.  It will be A LOT of work, but I am ready for it.  I am excited to be able to put all of the great things I have learned over the years to good use.  I have had amazing teachers who have taught me so much and helped me earn this position of teaching next year.   Just call me Mrs. Miller.  Students.....here I come.

Babies.

A few weeks ago Heidi and I went home to have a baby shower for these pregnant ladies.  We had such a wonderful time.  Dana and Sara (with a tiny tiny bit of my help) put on a great shower for them. After seeing all of the clothes and gifts they got I can hardly wait for my niece and nephew to get here.
Aren't they just so beautiful?
(stole this picture from Heidi's blog)
That weekend was short but so great to be home.  It was about 75 degrees on Saturday and just gorgeous out.  I was so glad to leave 25 degree weather! I will do that any day.  We also got to celebrate Dana's birthday by going to Ruby's.  It's always a great time going home and spending time with my family.

I'm Back (sorta)

After some crazy semesters of school, I decided I should probably get back into the blogging world.
I abandoned it for too long. I have missed blogging, so I am back.  Please bare with me though.  As I am in school full time and working like crazy, I may not have all the time in the world to blog.  Anyway,  let me fill you in on what has happened since Christmas.
~ Back to school.
~ Blake started his new job
~ We have been super crazy/busy with school and work
~ Blake built a computer
~ I received a position to teach at a school in Provo starting in the fall
Things have been going so great for us.  We are definitely blessed!
